I was playing around with this awhile ago, and humbly named it after myself. The Suckapunch Shuffle is
just a grid I made on Virtual DJ, where you shuffle the beats from backwards to forwards. It changes the melody a little bit, changes the vocals alot, and keeps it on beat. I've got lots of interesting results... some sound good, some sound like crap. Here are four of the better ones.

On Wednesday, I played for an 8th Grade graduation at the Virgil Middle School on Vermont Avenue. Former middle school of Marilyn Monroe. Today it's 99% Latino.

I thought I was prepared. I had commercial hip-hop, reggaeton, merengue, and salsa. But that wasn't enough.

2 by 2, little girls were coming up to me, begging me to play punta. I had no punta. I only heard it mentioned to me once around 8 months ago, and never heard about it again.

It's weird being a grown ass man, having 8th graders yell at you.

Anyway for my first post, some punta.
